Saliu Shuaib

Saliu Shuaib is a Shari’ah audit, compliance, and governance professional with over eight years of experience in Islamic banking. He currently serves as Shari’ah Audit Lead at Summit Bank, where he established the Bank’s Shari’ah Audit framework and oversees independent assurance across its operations. His professional experience spans Shari’ah governance, Islamic finance product structuring, Islamic accounting, treasury review, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance, having previously served at TAJBank and Jaiz Bank. He holds the Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA) and Certified Shari’ah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA) certifications from AAOIFI and is currently pursuing an Executive Master in Islamic Finance at INCEIF. He also serves as Vice President of the Student Representative Council at INCEIF and tutors candidates preparing for AAOIFI professional examinations. His work reflects a strong commitment to strengthening Shari’ah governance, advancing professional standards, and developing expertise within the Islamic finance industry.
